We know everyone is busy this time of year, so we’ll try to be brief—thank you for making this year such an incredible success.

We’ve been working overtime behind-the-scenes to gain and analyze feedback from our community, and we couldn’t be more excited to share some of what we have in store for next year — we’ll be scaling up our efforts tremendously to help onboard more members into the web3 ecosystem and 2022 will be a mix of online and IRL hackathons.

We’ll be running 6 in-person events across the world along with at least 10 online hackathons next year and continuing some online favorites like HackMoney, ETHOnline, and HackFS, and bringing back some familiar cities like ETHSanFrancisco, and ETHNewYork.

We have 6 more hackathons still in stealth mode so keep an eye out for further announcements on our 2022 events calendar on ethglobal.com and join the community at discord.gg/ethglobal to stay in the know.

🦠 A note on COVID-19…

Going back to in-person events requires the utmost caution, and it is not a decision we arrived at lightly. Our commitment to the Ethereum community is hard-wired in our DNA. We will do everything in our power to maintain the highest safety standards and security in our events.

Strict adherence to local health procedures, in addition to comprehensive testing, will be an integral part of our events for the foreseeable future. If it becomes clear that we are unable to safely host an event in a given location, we may be forced to cancel or postpone an event listed above. We appreciate your understanding.

We couldn’t be more excited to build in-person events again and connect with all of you for the first time in what feels like ages. Please feel free to reach out to learn more about safety and security at our events.

See you in 2022,

❤️ The ETHGlobal Team
