Over the last five years, ETHGlobal has been the team behind the ecosystem’s favourite events, the welcoming face for thousands to Ethereum, the birthplace of dozens of amazing companies, the forum for millions of conversations, and the source of countless “aha!” moments.

Introducing Pragma
Pragma is a one-day, single-track, in-person summit hosted by ETHGlobal.
With a focus on intimacy, Pragma serves as a hub for high-quality talks and as a forum of discussion for builders and leaders from Ethereum ecosystem and beyond.
Ethereum builders may recognize the name, as all blockchain programs start with a pragma, and starting with Tokyo, all ETHGlobal hackathons will as well. Pragma is not just the start of a builder's journey, but also a call towards pragmatism. Our hope is that Pragma will serve as the backbone of our pragmatic effort to bring Ethereum and Web3 to wider audiences and move the needle for the ecosystem.
Pragma Tokyo — A focused experience with refined encounters
ETHGlobal is thrilled to launch Pragma in Tokyo. Taking place on Thursday, April 13th — Pragma Tokyo will feature a single track of curated talks by industry leaders. By ensuring that everyone is in the same place and soaking in the same content, Pragma sets the scene for meaningful conversations after each talk. Pragma is designed to keep you engaged, informed, and inspired.
Our attendees will be part of a carefully curated community, all eager to learn from the best. Sit back, enjoy the unique conversations specifically tailored for Pragma and engage with the community afterwards.

Pragma is by-application and a ticketed event. Attendance is open to all, and all are welcome to apply. A special focus is given to applications from local Japanese community leaders, builders, founders, policy makers, and VCs.
We’ll be inviting a few hundred attendees to purchase a ticket and join us at the venue. Access to discounted tickets will be available to hackers and guaranteed access provided to ETHGlobal Members and Mergooor Pass holders.
